GRADING WINDOW The Grading Window is a powerful filter that creates a circular selection that can be changed in size and dimensions. With the option of massively feathered edges and shape rotation it allows for precise and natural areas of the screen to be Blurred or Sharpened, Lightened or Darkened and Color Corrected. It can also be layered to create complex grades. As with all of The Grading Sweet filters, all controls are fully keyframeable. This filter is a great tool for quickly and easily adding depth and shading to shots in a way that is subtle or dramatic. Apply to footage that is under or overexposed and it allows you to correct the shots in a precise, repeatable fashion. It emulates the effects of lens stops from 8 Stops under to 8 Stops overexposed. COLOR TEMPERATURE Correct for wrong white balance or filter settings with this fast and easy to use tool. The simple 3-position switch allows you to convert daylight to tungsten and vice-versa. This filter is a great way to quickly fix problem shots or to create to basis for an entire “look” when combined with other filters. SWEET GOLD & SWEET ICE These are quick filters that function very much like optical filters on a camera. Sweet Gold creates a natural warmth in levels from ¼ to #3 factors. Sweet Ice is the cold equivalent and creates clean bluish tones. Both filters are fast and easy to use for creating an instant “look” or as the basis for more detailed corrections. FILM COLOR TIMING Emulates the Red, Green & Blue lights in a traditional film printer. Great for learning about color and grading. It can also be useful for analysing source material. VIDEO AIRBRUSH Allows a range of colors to be selected (eg. Skintones) and then softened without affecting the rest of the image. This can be used to create silky smooth skin in a fraction of the tie taken by traditional digital methods and with far more power & subtlety than traditional optical methods. The effect can be a dramatic, almost “plastic” look or the most subtle softening the audience will never notice.
